The just concluded English Premier League (EPL) season is one to forget for many premier league sides. Manchester City, despite coming second, had an underwhelming season when compared to their standards in the recent previous seasons. Arsenal, Tottenham and Bournemouth were all a shadow of their normal selves. The biggest winner without question is, of course, Liverpool FC. The manner with which they won the title after 30 years is to be envied, breaking numerous records along the line.

FIFA takes over VAR: What does this means to World Football?
Like the arrival of a newly signed player, the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) was welcomed to the premier league with a huge cheer, when it was announced on November 15, 2018 by the English FA that it has been voted to be introduced to the league.
However, the technology has generated a lot of controversies due to inconsistencies in decision making and the human error of the custodians. Little wonder no premier league referee made it to the last world cup in Russia.

Before FBI comes to Church by Dr. Olusesan
Social media have done more at condemning ill-gotten wealth than the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). You will sleep there, if you expect some church overseers to take advantage of this sober moment, to make examples of the FBI 80 from the pulpit.

Tourism in Nigeria: A Neglected Goldmine
Most Nigerians today prefer to have their vacations abroad.
Tourist centers in Nigeria are mostly visited by those who cannot afford the

Living Within Your Means...
Reading through the affidavit of the Federal Bureau of Investigation on the financial crime allegedly committed by our homeboy (Read here) left my jaw dropping and as at the same time felt very bad for this country. Further damage to our already dented image on the international scene.

A 'Good' in every 'Bad' …
Nothing is exclusively bad. There is always a good thing to
take from every bad situation. Again, nothing or no one is completely useless.
Even a dead clock is correct twice in a day. Ugly/bad experiences can be
likened to our night, dark and valley experiences or to our trying and down
times.
When Life Happens.
Growing up, chances are that you have been told and/or
mentored to always dream big and aspire to be great in life. Many grew up with
this in mind and hoping someday, their dreams will come through. Absolutely,
there's nothing wrong with dreaming big and wishing for the best in life. It
helps you to stay focused and be committed to whatever it is you are doing,
bearing in mind the desired goal.
