Before FBI comes to Church by Dr. Olusesan

Social media have done more at condemning ill-gotten wealth than the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). You will sleep there, if you expect some church overseers to take advantage of this sober moment, to make examples of the FBI 80 from the pulpit.

The show off by Yahooboys party-popping dollars isn't different from some of the drama from the pulpit: "brethren, the last time I was in the US, I stayed at Waldorf Astoria, sipping pina colada when God reminded me I left my Rolex in my Rolls Royce, at the valet parking." 😀 Every breakthrough is breakthrough, even if you break bank.

At full cycle, I won't be surprised, if Fatoyinbo's name features as a picker in the ongoing FBI scandals. I have nothing personal against him, but that man has dashed out new SUVs more than Coscharis Motors in Nigeria.

These show offs is a reason why some Nigerians never toiled for a day in Nigeria, before becoming desperate immigrants. You can't see Nigerians in a US old people's home, scooping poo that spilt from adult diapers, and you'll want to hike Sahara desert, to enter Spain from Libya.

1 Cor 3:13 says "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is." FBI 80 have appellation like "Thank you Jesus," "Son of God." God saved me none is "Son of David."

It's time for the church to emphasize diligence, instead of breakthrough. Diligence in the secular work Christian do is what will sustain the Gospel, and not special seeds from "Hickory Dickory Dock." This was how we started, "God is asking me to give 10 SUVs to 10 people here."

To complete the work FBI and EFCC have started, the church needs to do away with "cash and carry" prophetic blessings: If you want to give 1M, stand like this for anointing oil. If you want to give 500k, stand to the left. If all you have is 5k, stay where you are. God bless you!
